Our weekly online coding classes for year 7, 8, 9 and 10 students offer educational and fun lessons for students wanting to learn more advanced programming skills.
The Senior Term Program teaches more advanced coding skills, problem solving and logical thinking with real-world languages like Python, Java, JavaScript and C.

Languages Used:
• Python – a core language used by Data Scientists.
• Java – industry language powering many companies, and the language behind Minecraft.
• JavaScript – the language that powers the modern web.
• C – A core language used by computers, powering algorithms and applications everywhere.

Skills:
• Understand how data is stored with Binary Numbers and ASCII character encoding.
• Introduction to different Data Types in programming.
• Manage files – program to create and maintain offline files on hard disks.
• Build desktop apps – a scientific calculator, currency converter, expenses tracker and others.
• Solve classic mathematical problems namely finding factors, triangle congruency theorem and others.
• Build interactive web-pages while understanding the building blocks of ‘the internet’.
• Understand the concept of authorization on webpages.
• Use databases to retrieve information on the web.
